Senior Engineer (ICT)
Engineering role in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Skills Required
- Strong expertise in ICT system design, installation, testing, and supervision.
- Ability to plan and coordinate ICT works for large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications, networking, structured cabling, and related ICT systems.
- Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Strong site coordination and team supervision skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of total professional experience after graduation.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in ICT design, installation, and supervision.
- Must have experience working on at least one project of a similar nature.
- Experience in large-scale construction or multi-disciplinary projects will be an advantage.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer qualification in Computer, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Proven experience handling ICT works from design through installation and site supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience coordinating ICT activities with other engineering disciplines.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination capabilities.
